Have you been watching the news? It is entirely possible the Supreme Court will roll back or nullify the Roe v. Wade abortion decision within a year when it decides Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
While anticipating this moment – whether it happens soon or farther down the road – churches, pro-lifers, and life-affirming assistance providers will continue caring for their community’s pregnant and parenting women and families.
The question is: Are we ready to serve women who choose life not only today but also when abortion is no longer an option?
It’s common sense that vulnerable women and children are best served when their community collaborates to provide holistic care. Relying on each other’s strengths and areas of expertise, these groups will together build a pro-life safety net to facilitate long-term success.
In turn, faith communities benefit from strong and healthy families, and by knowing where to find trustworthy assistance.
Her PLAN staff hopes to serve the faith community by identifying each church’s unique strengths that will enable them to best serve women and children in need. We provide resources to enable a church to partner with a specialized provider or ministry, or to serve women directly. We also suggest curricula to educate church members on relevant topics.
