As Central Florida Coordinator for Her PLAN, Ava connects and strengthens communities of support for vulnerable women, children, and families. She is a recent graduate of Southeastern University, where she earned a B.S. in Public Relations.
During her time at Southeastern, Ava led key initiatives focused on life-affirming advocacy and support. She wrote a senior thesis exploring how churches can better serve women facing unexpected pregnancies, served on the board of her university’s Students for Life chapter, organized annual student trips to the March for Life, volunteered on the core team of the local maternity home, and managed the childcare team for YoungLives Polk County.
Ava began her involvement in the pro-life movement at age 16 by volunteering at a pregnancy center. At 19, she became the Communications Strategist for a local center, where she led a rebranding initiative and developed a comprehensive communications strategy in preparation for launching a new location next to Polk County’s last remaining abortion facility. Ava is excited to be working each day with Her PLAN to connect communities of support for moms and their babies.
