As Communications Writer for Her PLAN, Emily writes and amplifies stories of building Her Community in states across the country. Emily received her undergraduate degrees in Literary Studies and Conflict, Peace, and Social Justice with minors in Creative Writing and Theology from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2022. A lifelong Virginian, she was born and raised in Richmond and now resides in Lynchburg with her husband. Prior to joining Her PLAN, Emily worked in communications and evangelization for the Diocese of Richmond.
